It works like cellular roaming: once a user's device is provisioned by an identity provider, it joins any participating network without logging in again — no captive portal, no re-entering credentials. The Wireless Broadband Alliance manages the federation.
Cloud4Wi provides a flexible, hardware-independent way to join the OpenRoaming federation, managed from one cloud platform. You can act as a WiFi Network Provider — offering your network to roaming users — as an Identity Provider, using Cloud4Wi's IDP-as-a-service to give your users worldwide WiFi access, or as both. You choose the role and Cloud4Wi handles the federation setup.
